I'd like to know why we are seeing Smile City banners appearing on sites when we know that they should not even be there?

Would you like to explain this because from what I can see my browser is being interfered with WITHOUT my permission!

I know for a fact that Smile City is not appearing on those sites with the owners permission....isn't this a very questionable type of marketing?

...certainly does not make me Smile and the same would apply to many others if they knew how those banners appear there. Would you like to explain?

...do you get my point ....or are smile city points the only ones on offer?

I know exactly what you are talking about. Companies such as 180Solutions (Zangocash) use to employ this technique. But to clear things up I think you may be incorrect. I see SmileCity advertisements all over the internet. But these are from Google Adsense Ads.

Impact host,

You maybe right, however I have seen their ads popping up in places on sites where I am sure that no Adwords channels are being deployed. Plus, I am curious why they have on 2 occasions never bothered to reply to my accusations. I have sent them emails asking them about this - they never responded.

I also had a couple of conversations with them by phone about marketing situations a while ago. They tried to make me believe at the time that they were a NZ operation with offices and a physical presence here. However that is not true. Smile City is totally Australian and I would challenge them to openly display this on their New Zealand site. I am certain that would never happen because I know what it would do to them.
