I've been wanting to host wordpress but I am having dramas configuring my SQL settings. I'm hosting or trying to using Orcon and as they don't support wordpress I don't have a terminal to help me through the process Especially using the database I have used the .org forum to see if this might clarify but I'm not having much success. Can anyone sort me out. Cheers Hek

I would recommend using Hostgator their admin system has 'Fantastico' which loads Wordpress in one simple click. If you'd like I can set you up an account for $6 p/m otherwise visit www.hostgator.com or any hosting system that has Fantastico. Much easier than messing round with databases

Wordpress also provides tutorial and forums where you can learn a lot more things.

I agree with DoubleClick mate,

Go hostgator.com and use cPanel with Fantastico ...
you can litterally setup and entire WP Blog in like 10 clicks.

and you could probably youtube some video tutorials too.

all the best,
