(Same reply below that I posted on previous message) Argh! It's happened again, obviously this is a new hack that's going around. I've been trying to dig up info on it but my suspicion is they are scraping the 'Memberlist' page and using that to generate the user IDs, then using the userIDs to feed ...

Argh! It's happened again, obviously this is a new hack that's going around. I've been trying to dig up info on it but my suspicion is they are scraping the 'Memberlist' page and using that to generate the user IDs, then using the userIDs to feed in to a PM script. If they are just sequentially upda...

www.textlinkbrokers.com - more relevant is better than high PR. The same country does not seem to make a lot of difference. On the page that links to you two main factors count - link anchor text, and also the page title of that page.

New Google matching algorithm
In case you weren't aware, Google is now matching more on a broad basis for keywords. For example, previously "affiliate" and "affiliates" were two separate words on Google, but now it is treating them as the same. This is due mainly from optimisation moving away from on-page more towards backlinks....

imhungry.co.nz and "Pizza Delivery" on Google
Have been quite intrigued by the recent Trade Me auction at http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=80687670 where the website www.imhungry.co.nz is being sold, at a reserve of $25k. A unique aspect of the auction was having #1 spot on Google.co.nz for 'pizza delivery' and 'food delivery'. S...

A little copywriting tip ..
Try and use verbs, especially to start sentences. For example, "Beat hayfever with Villox!" instead of "Villox is the cure for your hayfever". That's a most basic example. Take it a step further and try and paint a picture in the reader's mind by using synonyms and a good thesaurus. Google.com and A...

Have you considered buying whatever your product is that you're promoting (if you can get away with a small purchase)? That's often a sure fire way of conifirming tracking's working. Just because you're getting 27% CTR doesn't really mean much, it may not be the keywords people are using to buy. Of ...

Scheduling your ads in AdWords - new Google feature
Google has progressively been activating the new schedule ads feature which is long overdue. This may be worth exploring to disable ads at weekends, for example, all on auto-pilot. A second, more buried feature, is the ability to list possible negative keywords in the keywords tool. Try that out, to...
